My Heart as an End-of-Life Doula
Supporting those who are planning ahead for the end of life, facing a life-threatening or terminal illness, or navigating the end stages of life is not just my work—it’s service that matters deeply to me. I support individuals and their circle of care through the end of life, bringing presence in moments that can feel overwhelming.
Death, dying, and grief are part of being human—experiences that every family, every community, and every person will encounter in some form. And yet, they’re often met with silence, fear, or a lack of support. I believe end-of-life care should be accessible, affordable, and shaped by the cultural and emotional needs of each person. That means honoring diverse beliefs, family structures, and lived experiences. For some, these conversations come long before they’re needed. For others, they begin in the middle of real-time decisions. This process looks different for everyone. My role is simply to walk with you, however it unfolds.
Personal experiences with death, loss, and grief have shaped my perspective, allowing me to approach this work with empathy, authenticity, and a strong belief that no one should have to navigate these moments alone. I am dedicated to helping people navigate and openly explore the complexities of end-of-life matters in ways that honor who they are and what matters most to them.
Equally important to me is being out in the community—educating people about death, dying, and grief; raising awareness about the emotional and practical aspects of end-of-life care; and encouraging honest conversations and early planning. I offer workshops, speak at local events, and create opportunities for people to learn and reflect together. It’s all part of my commitment to making these topics more approachable and less overwhelming.

Honoring Lives Through Thoughtful Planning

End-of-Life Doula Services
End-of-Life Planning
End-of-life planning isn’t just about paperwork—it’s about making sure your wishes are honored and that you feel a sense of peace about what comes next. I help individuals express their thoughts, concerns, and hopes in a way that feels natural and supportive. This can include exploring care preferences, organizing important documents, or working on legacy projects that reflect the life you’ve built. I also help create meaningful rituals that bring comfort and connection, from marking significant moments to honoring what matters most.
Beyond planning, I encourage death-curious conversations, creating opportunities for open and thoughtful discussions that ease fear and uncertainty. I also connect individuals and their circle of care to trusted community resources that offer additional guidance and support. If you’re thinking ahead for yourself or helping someone else navigate this stage, my role is to offer support, practical guidance, and ongoing, reliable support along the way.

End-of-Life Presence & Support
The final days of life can be deeply emotional and uncertain. I offer reassurance and comfort to both individuals and their circle of care through presence, caregiver support, and gentle guidance as they move through the dying process.
I provide non-medical comfort care, including meditation, guided imagery, and other supportive practices to ease discomfort and promote relaxation. I also offer physiological death education, helping those involved understand the natural process of dying so they can feel more prepared and less afraid. For those in their final moments, I offer imminent death sitting, ensuring no one has to be alone in their last hours.
Early Grief Support
Grief is a deeply personal experience—there’s no right or wrong way to move through it. As a Certified Grief Counselor and Certified Child & Adolescent Grief Counselor, I offer compassionate, non-clinical support to help individuals and families process loss in ways that feel meaningful to them.
I provide gentle guidance for those navigating the early stages of grief, offering support with immediate tasks, emotional processing, and understanding what to expect in mourning and bereavement. When needed, I connect individuals with additional resources to ensure ongoing support beyond our time together.
Grief is not something to be “fixed.” It’s something to be witnessed, honored, and carried in a way that feels manageable. My role is to walk alongside you, offering presence, reassurance, and a space where your grief—no matter what it looks like—is met with care and understanding.
Additional Services
I’ve had the opportunity to lead thoughtful conversations around death, dying, and grief in a variety of settings—from community gatherings to professional trainings. These conversations are never one-size-fits-all. I meet people where they are.
Through workshops, trainings, facilitated discussions, and speaking engagements, I offer opportunities to talk about things that are often avoided. My goal is to ease some of the fear and discomfort around these topics by providing practical guidance and room for honest reflection. Each offering is tailored to the needs of the individuals in the room.
If you're interested in bringing this work to your organization or community, I’m always open to collaborating on something that feels intentional, grounded, and meaningful.
