Tomorrow's Instructions Handled With Care

My Heart as an End-of-Life Doula

Supporting those who are planning for death, facing a life-threatening or terminal illness, or navigating the end stages of life is not just my work—it’s my calling. It is my deepest honor to walk alongside individuals and their circle of care during these tender chapters, offering a calm, steady presence in moments that can feel overwhelming and uncertain.

My approach is rooted in holistic support, where grief is met with compassion, lives are honored in deeply personal ways, and individuals feel empowered to make choices that align with their values and wishes. Through compassionate listening and presence, I provide the support needed to navigate end-of-life decisions at a pace that feels right. Whether through thoughtful planning, emotional support, or simply holding space, my commitment remains the same: to ensure that every individual feels seen, valued, and cared for during this profound time.

Personal experiences with death, loss, and grief have shaped my perspective, allowing me to approach this work with deep empathy and authenticity. I am dedicated to creating safe, supportive spaces where individuals can openly explore the complexities of grief, end-of-life concerns, and the legacy they wish to leave behind.

Compassionate End-of-Life Doula Services

End-of-Life Planning

End-of-life planning isn’t just about paperwork—it’s about making sure your wishes are honored and that you feel a sense of peace about what comes next. I offer a compassionate presence, helping individuals express their thoughts, concerns, and hopes in a way that feels natural and supportive. This can include exploring care preferences, organizing important documents, or working on legacy projects that reflect the life you’ve built. I also help create meaningful rituals that bring comfort and connection, whether that’s marking significant moments or finding ways to honor what matters most.

Beyond planning, I encourage death-curious conversations, making space for open and thoughtful discussions that ease fear and uncertainty. I also connect individuals and their circle of care to trusted community resources that offer additional guidance and support. Whether you're thinking ahead for yourself or helping someone else navigate this stage, my role is to offer support, practical guidance, and a steady presence along the way.

End-of-Life Presence & Support

The final days of life can be deeply emotional and uncertain. I bring a calming presence, offering reassurance and comfort to both individuals and their circle of care. My role is to help create a peaceful environment, whether by maintaining a steady presence, offering respite for caregivers, or guiding families through the dying process with compassion and clarity.

I provide nonmedical comfort care, including meditation, guided imagery, and other supportive practices to ease discomfort and promote relaxation. I also offer physiological death education, helping those involved understand the natural process of dying so they can feel more prepared and less afraid. For those in their final moments, I offer imminent death sitting, ensuring no one has to be alone in their last hours.

Early Grief Support

Grief is a deeply personal experience—there’s no right or wrong way to move through it. As a Certified Grief Counselor and Certified Child & Adolescent Grief Counselor, I offer compassionate, non-clinical support to help individuals and families process loss in ways that feel meaningful to them.

I provide gentle guidance for those navigating the early stages of grief, offering support with immediate tasks, emotional processing, and understanding what to expect in mourning and bereavement. When needed, I connect individuals with additional resources to ensure ongoing support beyond our time together.

Grief is not something to be “fixed.” It’s something to be witnessed, honored, and carried in a way that feels manageable. My role is to walk alongside you, offering presence, reassurance, and a space where your grief—no matter what it looks like—is met with care and understanding.

Additional Services

I’ve had the honor of engaging people in meaningful conversations around death, dying, and grief across various platforms. My commitment is to create supportive spaces and communities where these important discussions can unfold with honesty, compassion, and care.

Through community impact work, my goal is to help ease the fear and discomfort surrounding these topics by providing practical guidance, fostering deeper understanding, and nurturing acceptance. Whether through workshops, trainings, facilitated conversations, or speaking engagements, I create opportunities for exploration in a way that feels safe and supportive. Each offering is thoughtfully tailored to meet the needs of those I’m working with.

For those interested in hosting a workshop, training, keynote, or guest speaking engagement, I provide insight and expertise to create a meaningful and impactful experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Question: Are you available for home deaths as well as deaths in healthcare facilities?
Answer: Yes, I can provide support both in home deaths and deaths that occur in healthcare facilities.
  • Question: Is a death doula the same as a hospice worker?
Answer: While there may be some overlap in the services provided, a death doula and a hospice worker have different roles. During our initial call, I will take the time to listen to your concerns, understand your needs, and discuss my services and approach.
